Broome’s mangroves provide a sheltered habitat for a wide variety of native and aquatic animals. Teeming with life, they are both feeding grounds and nurseries for fish, molluscs, burrowing mud worms, various crustaceans, turtles, and the occasional saltwater crocodile.
